The
Bridge Studio |
|
by
Heather Wood
Whether I am working with textiles, glass, wood, or canvas,
I am always using intuitive skills in combination with colour,
line and form to express myself. Both my sculptural work and
functional glass or textile pieces give voice to my visual ideas.

sharper
edge glass |
|
by
James Scultety and Heather Buchanan
Sharper
Edge Glass combines the talents of glass artists Heather Buchanan
and James Scultety.
"Coming
from different walks of life and backgrounds, this artisan team
met during their years at Sheridan College majoring in the fine
craft of glassblowing.
Heather and James continually feed off of each other's unique
tastes and ideas, coming together for the fabrication of each
piece. Their work differentiates from modern clean designs,
to free-formed pieces inspired by growth- thus extending their
evolving body of works."

Gundi
: Creations in Glass |
|
by
Gundi Viviani Finch
Gundi's
larger sculptural works reveal shapes that contrast strongly
with regularly layered levels of glass. This year she has also
infused many of her pieces with bold, colorful edging, which
can be customized according to taste.

PAULL
RODRIGUE |
|
by
PAULL RODRIGUE
Through
a multiple of techniques and colour applications, I indulge
in the presence of hot glass. In this creative process of hot
glass, I connect with the conscious part of my personality and
awaken. The glass presents a challenge which I respond to in
an intuitive and spontaneous manner. The seductive qualities
continue to entice me and I look forward to the court
and spark and the dance that ensues. This continuous dance
results in knocking off the puntil works that are technical,
layered in colour, and eloquent in linear aesthetics. From this
point, I am satisfied with the knowledge and the inspirational
efforts that are put into making my work. |
