Kid
Brother |
|
Kid
Brother was started by Carol Pitre, a graphic designer and mother
of two boys. Disappointed by traditional boys clothing —
which was either unimaginative, or overpriced — Carol
decided to take matters into her own hands. She debuted
her spring line of boys clothing at the 2004 Spring One of a
Kind Show. Each piece is designed and handmade in Canada, using
top quality fabrics and materials.

My
mother sewed, and I was fascinated by the process from an early
age. I watched her for hours and tried to imitate her and bugged
her to help me make things. I think she finally taught me to
use her sewing machine (which I now have and still use occasionally)
so that she could get a little peace. I've been sewing ever
since.
